The hotels AIrecommends mostin San Francisco
Travelers ask AI where to stay in the Bay Area. We put the same questions to AI and track which hotels they recommend. Find yours to see where it stands.

See how AI decides on your hotel
We test the traveler questions that matter to your property, show where AI sends guests to book, and walk you through what moves your ranking. Thirty minutes with the founder who runs this research.
Methodology
We send the same 16 traveler questions to each AI on a fixed schedule: tech-event weeks, business meetings, where VCs stay, relocating and apartment hunting, conferences at the San Jose and Santa Clara convention centers, a budget under $250 a night. Each question starts a fresh chat and asks the AI to ignore saved memories and search the web as it normally would.
A hotel counts once per answer when the AI recommends it. Hotels it mentions only to rule out are left out. The percentage is the share of answers in your selection that recommend the hotel. "#1 in N answers" counts the answers where AI listed the hotel first.
Each city has its own questions: San Francisco, Palo Alto and the Peninsula, and San Jose and Santa Clara. The SF-or-Peninsula question counts toward both. Muse has fewer answers than the other platforms so far, and Grok is paused. A recommendation shows what the AI said; it is not a rating of the hotel.
Collection days so far: Oct 30, 2026, Nov 1, 2026, Nov 2, 2026, Nov 4, 2026. We keep collecting on a fixed weekly schedule, so rankings settle as more answers come in.
